Overall responsibilities include acquiring new customers, servicing existing customers, managing company assets, sales logistics, and execution of national, regional, and local initiatives. The VBA will spend the majority of time in the surgeon''s office and hospital setting and includes coverage of cases in operating room (OR) and interventional lab, coordination of equipment required for case coverage, and logistics related to hospital billing and replenishment.The Vertebral Body Augmentation Sales Consultant (SC) is responsible for developing working relationships with a varied base of customers including clinicians, nurses, OR, IR managers and purchasing agents within hospitals, ambulatory service centers, and physicians'' offices, designed to develop rapport and gain commitment for use of the Company''s products and business initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for targeting surgeons for participation in company product training activities as part of the sales process. The VBA is expected to support and actively participate in such programs including WWHQ''s, product evaluations, cadaver labs, etc.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: A minimum of a BA/BS degree with 2 years outside sales experience. 4 years sales experience within the Interventional Radiology (IR)/Spinal/Neuro/Orthopaedic surgery markets is preferred. The ability to operate in a "technical" and very professional sales environment is required. Candidates must have a valid driver''s license issued in one of the 50 States (no restrictions and clean record) along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good overall business acumen (market understanding, business planning, ability to build value based customer relationships, results focused). Prior hospital or operating room based selling experience is desired, but not essential. Computer literacy is required (must be proficient in MS Office).
