Project Government Relations Analyst responsibilities include
Will gather government agency and department project requirements, attend and actively participate in all meetings related to assigned projects, will hand-hold project through first-live output/production, will transfer knowledge and requirements to jurisdictions relationship owner post-project.
May need to chair meetings IT-to-IT conference calls, if needed or other meetings required to properly gather agency and department requirements.
Must be able to ensure project stays on track, negotiate extensions, waivers, and favorable solutions with agency.
Document and publish requirements thoroughly and accurately.
Some independant travel may be required.
Qualifications Required
Experience, Skills, Academic
Three or more years experience TFS product or equivalent industry experience preferred.
1-2 years Government Relations or relevant experience.
Project experience a plus.
CPP preferred.
College degree preferred or equivalent training and work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated extensive organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines using effective time management skills.
Proven ability in managing project deliverables with quality and accuracy.
Inspires commitment from stakeholders while maintaining a positive attitude.
Capacity to manage projects for multiple products.
Ability to interact and influence other departments to resolve issues.
Conduct effective meetings and presentations internally and externally.
Very good working knowledge of Word and moderate knowledge of PowerPoint.
Inspires commitment from stakeholders while maintaining a positive attitude.
Overcome obstacles before seeking support from management.
