<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Bilingual (Spanish) Senior Corporate Counsel, LATAM and Brand ProtectionLocation: United States-California-San Francisco Bay Area - Foster CityOther Locations: United States-California-San Francisco Bay Area - Foster CityThis position will be responsible for assessing annual SCEA corporate anti-piracy needs and addressing the needs through developing and implementing an anti-piracy program in consultation with the Deputy General Counsel and the General Counsel and collaborating with other anti-piracy organizations, including those of affiliated Sony Computer Entertainment companies, Sony Corporation and the videogame industry&#39;s trade association, the Entertainment Software Association. The program to be developed will require a strong strategic online component (taking input from and working with SCEA Marketing, SCEA Strategic Business Development Latin America and SCEA Product Development). Responsibilities:* Initial meeting with Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel to set out process for developing anti-piracy program* Initial meetings followed by periodic meetings with relevant business groups to assess on an on-going basis SCEA corporate anti-piracy needs* Development of a written plan and budget for corporate anti-piracy program* Maintaining liaison between Sony Corporation anti-piracy groups and Sony Computer Entertainment affiliate anti-piracy colleagues on the one hand and SCEA Deputy GC and GC on the other hand* Maintaining relationships and correspondence with industry trade association Entertainment Software Association and providing 2-way feedback with SCEA Deputy GC and GC re same* Overseeing anti-piracy civil lawsuits and providing support to law enforcement and intellectual property agencies on behalf of SCEA* Managing staff (paralegal)* General litigation, both at individual contribution level and management level* Deep knowledge of trademark and copyright law* Deep knowledge of trademark and copyright litigation* Knowledge of all US agencies involved in intellectual property protection and their operations* Proven ability to develop a fact case at a highly detailed level* Knowledge of online investigative practices, online databases (e.g. how to find owner, administrator, ISP associated with a given domain name, etc.), anti-piracy and DMCA tracker products and services* Experience reviewing, analyzing and interpreting online data* Knowledge of internet infrastructure, including technical knowledge of service provider and telco infrastructure* Budget management* Excellent communication skills* Excellent follow-through* Deep attention to detailRequired Experience / Education:* Juris Doctor degree from a top law school* At least 10 years trademark and copyright litigation experience* At leaset 3 years in anti-piracy, brand protection or other intellectual property protection experience Preferred Experience / Education:* Fluency in SpanishSony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) is responsible for keeping PlayStation
