This particular position will focus on Oracle products running on IBM Power Systems hardware with AIX.Candidate for this job will have expertise in the design and implementation of Oracle database environments. A key skill requirement of the candidate is Oracle Database and Oracle Real Applications Clusters software. Another important skill is the understanding of how the Oracle suite of software integrates with the hardware layers of the solution.Candidate will be responsible for working with technical clients and other IBM technical field sales professionals, in a pre-sales capacity, to support the IBM mission around Independent Sofware Venors (ISVs). This may include one or all of the following: client briefings, solution demonstrations, proof of concepts, performance testing and tuning, architecture design, and DB migration workshops.
