Understand the requirements and operations of the account and district as it pertains to Healthcare Technologies. The Supervisor will also provide PM and repair services for approximately 15000 biomed devices across 4 campuses and supervise 2 BMET's.You will repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment and instrumentation used in the healthcare delivery field specifically at the large medical facility. Inspect and install medical and related technical equipment in medical and research facilities for use by physicians, nurses, scientists, or engineers involved in researching, monitoring, diagnosing, and treating physical ailments or dysfunctions.The Biomedical Equipment Supervisor services various equipment and apparatus, such as patient monitors, electrocardiographs, blood-gas analyzers, defibrillators, electro surgical units, anesthesia apparatus, pacemakers, blood-pressure transducers, spiro meters, sterilizers, diathermy equipment, patient care monitors, and other related medical equipment. You will repair, calibrate, and maintain equipment, using hand tools, test equipment, measuring devices, and knowledge of manufacturers' manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and preventive-maintenance schedules. Safety-tests medical equipment and healthcare facility's structural environment to ensure patient and staff safety from electrical or mechanical hazards. Consults with medical or research staff to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely, utilizing knowledge of electronics, medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, chemistry, and physics. May demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment to medical personnel. Attends required client meetings and implements ARAMARK Policies and Procedures.Qualifications:Skills and Qualifications:* Ideal candidates will possess an Associate's Degree and/or requisite industry experience or military training. Minimum of four years experience servicing medical equipment. Supervisory/managerial skills are a plus.* Good computer skills, good interaction with peers. A willingness to take notes and pay attention to detail.* Also the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services.* Ability to analyze, trouble shoot and resolve equipment repairs is critical to success in this role.* Knowledge of computers, electrical, and mechanical engineering principles required.* Ability to explain and demonstrate the correct operation of biomedical equipment to medical personnel required.* Excellent technical knowledge of biomedical equipment preventive and corrective repair standards.Job: Biomedical/Imaging Technology
