within the territory, two or three times per
week**
The successful candidate will be an individual
with extensive knowledge and experience in
Restoration  Control as well as Maintenance
Construction operations. This position will serve
as the Subject Matter Expert SME in defining
process requirements and business solutions for
development and releases of the Enterprise Mobile
Program. This individual should possess
knowledge of both field and back office
operations. Individual needs to be able to use
current
technology and anticipate future solutions within
those operations.
Qualifications
Required
H. S. diploma or equivalent
6 years experience in Electric Distribution
Restoration and or Maintenance  Construction or
Operations
Thorough understanding of electric MC and/or
restoration business operations
Desired
BA/BS in business, computer science, or related
discipline
Project management experience
Experience with the design of business processes
Effective oral communication to express ideas
and information to various audiences
Effective written communication so that ideas
and information can be expressed in writing and
understood by others.
Ability to develop and maintain work
relationships to achieve cooperation from others
to achieve a
goal.
Project management skills
Ability to conduct needs analysis by working
with the lines of business to help define business
needs, objectives, and solutions.
Ability to interpret and analyze business needs
and processes in order to assist in translating to
system requirement specifications.
Self-directed
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint
Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis and Design
Participate on teams that define, review and
approve requirements for the Enterprise Mobile
solutions.
Validate the solution design with the
stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies
the
requirements.
Review and validate solution prototype and
conduct conference room pilots to validate the
configuration design and explore gap resolution
options
Analyze and validate that the solution design
and related work products satisfy the
requirements.
Teamwork, Collaboration and Change Management
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for
Restoration and Maintenance and Construction, to
ensure
that its needs are fully understood by the project
team.
Ensure that other team members have the
information they need to successfully complete
their
work
Work closely with Change Lead, Human Performance
Architects and Business Systems
Manager in activities aligned with a successful
deployment of process and technology.
Participate in IBEW/ESC craft employee
engagement activities to build consensus on
business
requirements for each discipline
Project Management
Review and validate all appropriate
documentation required by the developers, testers,
deployment team, and solution management teams
that will maintain the solution in production.
Provide status updates to Business Systems
Manager regarding all initiatives and potential
conflicts.
Ensure all business process tasks are managed to
the Enterprise Mobile Program project plans
