The primary responsibility of the Clinical Research Nurse is the direct application of clinical expertise to study participants in the Neuroscience Clinical Research Unit. The Clinical Research Nurse works collaboratively with the Medical Director of the NCRU, Principal Investigators, research staff, task force, the NCRU Administrator and Advisors to establish, oversee, and maintain systems for clinical operations at the NCRU. The Clinical Research Nurse has responsibility for maintaining quality of care standards for all procedures performed, establish standard operating procedures and ensure all clinical care meets safety and regulatory standards for the patients participating in FDA-defined clinical trials and observational studies at the NCRU. The Clinical Research Nurse evidences self-direction and accountability in the development of this role within the NCRU.The Clinical Research Nurse shall provide nursing care under the supervision of the Medical Director of Neuroscience Clinical Research Unit (NCRU). The Clinical Research Nurse shall function in accordance with standardized procedures and policies; and will perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
