This position provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams, serving as a partner to nationally-known clients, and assisting with their corporate philanthropy and cause strategy implementation.Responsibilities:* Responsibilities include developing and executing integrated communications programs focused on corporate philanthropy and causes, including the implementation and management of strategic NGO partnerships for clients.* Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic counselor to internal team members and clients in the areas of corporate philanthropy, community engagement, and cause-related partnerships.* Serve as the day-to-day contact for several clients, and manage teams on program execution.* In addition to developing and managing budgets and business plans, the candidate will work with the larger team to generate incremental business opportunities with our existing clients, and act as a corporate responsibility expert in pursuing new business opportunitiesQualifications:The successful candidate must be results oriented, have a solid understanding of current trends and best practices in corporate social responsibility and/or global development communications, and solid experience developing and executing cause-related programs that incorporate employees and NGOs.Additionally, candidates should have:* 8-10 years of experience in a communications or social issues role, with a background in creating and managing communications programs that support and promote corporate philanthropy and community engagement. A combination of agency and corporate, NGO or political experience is highly preferred.* Superior writing skills, with the ability to develop and edit high-quality materials such communications plans, position papers, fact sheets, news and online media materials, bylined articles, trend analysis summaries, executive correspondence, and presentations.* Background executing integrated communications campaigns for strategic corporate responsibility and/or global development initiatives. Specific experience working on global development issues such as microfinance, financial inclusion and humanitarian aid a plus.* Proven expertise building and nurturing relationships with influencers in the corporate responsibility/NGO/community space. Candidate should have experience building relationships and working with diverse stakeholders effectively, both internally and externally.* Demonstrated experience working directly with clients on day-to-day activities, managing teams to effectively execute public relations plans, and drafting and implementing strategic corporate communications programs within budget.* High proficiency in recognizing and applying global and regional social, economic and policy trends that may impact current and future clients.* A strong understanding of digital communications and social media.* Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing, business or related field. * Ability to illustrate a results-focused approach and commitment to going the extra
