Our relationship with this outstanding medical center allows us to extend the practices of primary and secondary care physicians by offering expertise for complex cases, leading-edge technology and the highest standards for patient care.PRIMARY PURPOSE:Under the direction of the Compliance & Credentialing Manager at the St. Luke''s Health Care Center, this position is responsible for contract tracking, credentialing and quality improvement processes and functions for all providers who service St. Luke''s Health Care Center patients.Education and Experience:* Bachelor''s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; preferably in a health care setting* Minimum three years of demonstrative knowledge of physician practice management is required* Managed care contracting and physician credentialing experience preferred* Experience with NCQA credentialing standards highly desirable* Project management experience a plusKnowledge/Skills:* Excellent organizational skills, thorough follow through and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality in all activities* Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access* Excellent written and verbal communication* customer service skills required; with the ability to work effectively with management, staff and physician* Ability to trouble shoot, identify problem areas, develop and implement solutions
