response or digital forensic experience may be
substituted for other more specialized experience
such as malware reverse engineering and
application programming experience. Previous
experience with Guidance EnCase and other digital
investigations tools Deep technical skills
including malware reverse engineering, scripting
and other relevant technical security skills
Ability to work effectively, and support others,
while under pressure Strong analytical ability
with readiness to defend analysis in the face of
countervailing opinions Strength of conviction
without being dogmatic  Ability to work
effectively with an incomplete data set willing
to apply logic and academic rigor to make sound
analytical leaps A quick study of new
technologies, industries and scenarios  Ability to
seek out new, unique information sources and make
sound judgment regarding source reliability and
validity Highly collaborative, able to work cross-
functionally possessing the ability to forge
relationships and partner effectively Strong case
management and forensic procedural skillsDesired-
Experience in the utility industry - Previous
experience with investigative and analytical
software tools
Responsibilities
Utilizes digital forensic tools including
Guidance EnCase to execute digital investigations
and perform incident response activities Conduct
investigations of computer based events and other
security issues.  Establishes links between
suspects and other violators by piecing together
evidence uncovered from a variety of sources.
Analyzes and evaluates investigative progress to
reassess priorities, leads and direction.
Maintains a liaison with the organizations Law
Department and Corporate Security  Prepares clear,
comprehensive and cohesive investigative reports
