The Healthy Communities Director will be the
Foundations most visible leader in and for
District 10 in San Francisco. .  S/he will
represent the Foundation, organizing and
participating in community programs and events,
and identifying high impact opportunities for
investment, volunteering and technology solutions.
S/he will also
Assess priority needs of the community and area
residents on an ongoing basis.
Strong ties to District 10 is essential.
Liase with anchor grantees, community leaders and
government representatives to ensure impact is
aligned with both community and Foundation
priorities.
Assemble and lead teams to execute innovative
community projects, working with team leads inside
salesforce, technical experts, partner
organizations and    community       leaders.
Re-launch and expand the Foundations signature
Biz Academy youth employment and internship
program
Coordinate a suite of pro bono volunteer
technology projects to enhance collaboration,
management of multiple efforts in the community,
and measurement of outcomes
Amplify our impact through alignment with other
companies and interested organizations for
hiring/mentoring interns, participating in
cooperative work projects, sharing the
Foundations unique model of integrated corporate
philanthropy to benefit defined Healthy Community
neighborhoods.
Using the salesforce.com platform, measure and
report regularly on impact of volunteer projects
and grants, maintaining close collaborative
relationships with grantees and partners in the
community and capturing results for use in
documentation, for PR, and for the communities.
Essential Experience, Skills, and Competencies of
the Healthy Communities Director
Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited
college or university is required.
7-10 years of experience with proven success in
designing and managing community programs.
Deep knowledge of and experience with District 10
and neighborhood-based social change initiatives.
Experience building and participating effectively
in high-functioning teams.
Proven ability to manage relationships and
leverage resources across departments and
organizations.
Able to write and speak persuasively about the
organization to internal and external
constituencies.
Both for-profit and not-for-profit experience
preferred.
Internet savvy and skilled with computer
technology.
Proficiency with Salesforce is a plus.
