The Outage Management Operations Specialist
manages the successful development and execution
of an integrated/optimized planned outage schedule
for gas transmission, storage and the local
transmission system. Gas Operations Specialist
leverages subject matter experts across PGE to
balance competing needs of stakeholders in
developing and maintaining the official planned
outage schedule which accounts for all work
impacting PGEs gas system. This position is also
responsible for representing Outage Management at
various meetings as a facilitator and at times as
a participant in the meeting.
Must be able to obtain California Drivers License
prior to start.
Ability to travel within PGEs service territory
approximately 10% of time
Work Location San Francisco - Moving to San
Ramon California in 2013
Qualifications
Minimum
Must have a Bachelors Degree from an accredited
college or university.
Must have 4 or more years of experience in the
scheduling of jobs or goods and services
Desired
Experience in utility, gas transmission and/or
distribution, gas operations or gas maintenance.
Experience in the facilitation of meetings and
team training.
Experience in the use of an ERP Enterprise
Planning Resource Systems such as SAP,
PeopleSoft, Oracle, UNIX, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
Experience in Business Metrics/Analytics for
developing, quantifying and evaluating the
transformation of internal and external
information into business intelligence
