Consultants will perform a range of functions for healthcare provider clients, including financial analysis, business process analysis & reengineering, internal control reviews, statistical & data analysis, and revenue cycle transformation.We are looking for applicants with strong academic records and skills in healthcare revenue cycle analysis and problem solving. In addition, candidates should have excellent verbal and communication skills and must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Candidates should be able to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks concurrently and be adaptable to new assignments, systems, and tools. The healthcare consultant - provider revenue cycle is responsible for supporting the delivery of healthcare process improvement, revenue cycle transformation, and fraud and abuse management projects. The consultant will understand healthcare provider business challenges & translate them into requirements / solutions. He/she will find, document and resolve issues on a timely basis. The consultant should have an understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations. He/she should have knowledge of all aspects of the provider revenue cycle, to include scheduling/registration, patient accounting, claims submission, payment and denial processing and out-for-collections.Required* High School Diploma/GED* At least 6 months experience in Healthcare provider operations (hospital or ambulatory).* Basic knowledge in healthcare industry standards and best practices.* At least 6 months experience in at least one area of the healthcare revenue cycle arena.* Basic knowledge in federal financial management.* Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)* U.S. citizenship required* English: Basic knowledgePreferred* Bachelor''s Degree in Business/Management* At least 2 years experience in Healthcare provider operations (hospital or ambulatory).* At least 2 years experience in healthcare industry standards and best practices.* At least 2 years experience in workflow design methodologies, PM methodologies, tools and data analysis.* At least 2 years experience in at least one area of the healthcare revenue cycle arena.* At least 5 years experience in federal financial management.* English : IntermediateIBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
