The departments at the home office help support the Sutter Health affiliate network through such functions as Finance, Training, Human Resources, Risk Management, Marketing, Legal Counsel, and others.The Healthcare Facility Planner provides direct support to the Department Directors in programming and planning for capital construction projects; coordinates multidisciplinary user meetings; facilitates clinical process assessment, clarifies functional needs; works with Principal Architects to ensure that schematic designs are optimally laid-out; reviews drawings at various stages up to and through design development to ensure adherence to optimized processes and program requirements. Additionally, advises Principal Construction Project Representatives and Construction Project Representatives on medical equipment planning requirements for all major construction, renovations and expansion projects, and establishes guidelines for medical equipment consultants.
