As a Consultant with Resources Global Professionals you will have the ability to play an instrumental role in assisting healthcare clients in a variety of challenging projects that will make meaningful positive impact on their ability to provide safe, high quality, accessible health care.Professional QualificationsConsultants in these roles are involved in assessing revenue cycle operations with a clinical perspective to identify barriers to effective workflow and system processes. Position will also be responsible for auditing current procedures and evaluating internal controls. Remediation plans will be developed and presented for identified deficiencies.Our consultants operate in highly matrixed client environments often with exposure to C-level executives and organizational leaders. Applicants require excellent communications and indirect influencing capabilities combined with a strong technical background. S/he will have the ability to work independently or collaboratively.Successful candidates will have the following skills:* In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle continuum (e.g., front, middle, back).* 2+ years of healthcare clinical experience (e.g., RN, LVN, Physical Therapist, Surgical Technician, etc.).* Operational exposure to one or more of the following: Patient Access, Charge Integrity, Denials Management and Recovery, Patient Accounting, Patient Financial Services.* Working knowledge of coding, clinical documentation, health information management, and charge capture.* Revenue cycle systems experience.* Dedication to remaining current with industry and/or relevant legislative changes and advances.* Basic project management experience (e.g., lead meetings, draft status reports, develop / manage project plans, track issues/risk logs, develop / monitor resource plans, etc).* Ability to probe, analyze, synthesize and articulate complex subject matter so it can be easily understood.* Strong ability to document, design, assess, and/or re-engineer complex processes.* Experience and comfort working at all levels of an organization. * Willingness to perform many levels of project work, sometimes simultaneously, to ensure project success.* Demonstrated ability to present options for problem resolution.* A high degree of self-motivation, integrity, versatility and flexibility.* 8+ years of healthcare industry or consulting experience.* Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibility.Preferred Qualifications:* Experience as Nurse Auditor or Clinical Informatics Manager.* EPIC experience.* Bachelor''s degree.* PMP and Six Sigma certifications.* Experience with ICD-10, HIPAA 5010, Meaningful Use, HIE, and EHR implementation and/or optimization projects.Our Consultants enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to choose the client projects that interest them, while continuing to build professional relationships within our global community of Consultant and business professionals.
