Your responsibilities will be as follows:The person in this position will:* Manage all aspects of predictive modeling projects* Be the senior technical resource for assigned projects* Develop and mentor junior analysts* Provide pre and post sales technical assistance to clientsQualifications:* Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, or related field; PhD is a plus* 7+ years experience building predictive models on very large datasets, 4+ years in P&C Insurance* Thorough understanding of data reduction techniques, clustering, and GLM required; experience with neural networks and geospatial analytics a plus* Deep understanding of the business of insurance and insurance data; insurance professional designations that demonstrate knowledge are a plus (FCAS, ACAS, CPCU); experience applying advanced predictive analytics to develop insurance rating plans is ideal* Demonstrated ability to successfully mentor junior analysts* Ability to manage projects to deadlines* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to explain technical results to technical and non-technical audiences
