The Lighting Maintenance Technician provides their facility maintenance experience performing service calls to major retail and commercial businesses. The technician is primarily responsible for general repairs, lighting maintenance, electrical and other repair activities at the retail and commercial locations of our clients by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Functions
Performs trouble shooting procedures and repair activities at client locations.
Research, order, maintain parts, and tool inventories on an assigned company vehicle.
Prepares labor hours, parts, and materials required for all repairs and estimates for submission into tech notes for each work order assigned to him or her.
Operates a smart phone and provides the office with detailed assessments for each and every job that is assigned to the technician.
High level of customer service experience.
Quick thinker and communicates effectively.
Basic Competencies
Education High school graduate or GED Equivalent. Electrical certification preferred.
Experience 1-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Versatile tradesman with experience in carpentry and general maintenance repairs is highly desired.
Must have a current and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
