Develops detailed work scopes, resource estimates and Work Breakdown Structures used to build work schedules. Contributes to Maintenance productivity by ensuring maintenance work is planned safely, efficiently and effectively.Key Responsibilities:* Converts approved notifications into work orders. Plans sequential operational steps from start to finish with estimated labor hours and duration of activities. Identifies resources, materials and additional services. As needed may performs on-site field assessment to validate requirements.* Develops accurate work plan or detailed list of job steps including manpower and materials requirements necessary to execute identified work. Reviews work plan with appropriate personnel; as needed revises. Verify work instructions comply with established procedures and standards. Coordinates with Procurement to requisition parts, materials and services.* Creates work order packages containing detailed instructions for craftsperson to perform work. Ensures work orders have been thoroughly planned before issuance for execution and contain, depending on job scope and complexity, requisite elements such as, but not limited to, drawings, schematics, piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID), Job Safety Analysis, material safety data sheet (MSDS), Management of Change package, work or repair history, material list, permits, hot work preplan, etc. Ensures materials and resources are available when job is scheduled to commence.* Participates as required in risk-ranking process where stakeholders jointly validate work requests and agree to their disposition.* Prepares, maintains and issues complete and detailed resource-loaded project schedules, including accurate schedule logic. Maintains work order and equipment history files. Creates and generates reports, graphics, metrics, dashboards used by management in planning, control and execution of maintenance activities.Education and ExperienceMinimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of 5 year journeyman-level maintenance craft experience in petrochemical industry.Maintenance planning and/or scheduling experience preferred, including experience in coordinating external repair shops for electrical motors, control valves, and process safety relief valves. Special Skills:* Strong technical knowledge of petrochemical maintenance crafts, tools and work processes.* Able to interpret engineering drawings, equipment drawings, and P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams).* SAP working knowledge
