<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Mechanical Piping DesignerJob #: 16679Open Date: 10/26/2012Category: Engineering - Mechanical/ElectricalDescription: The Mechanical Piping Designer reports to the Design Department Manager and is responsible for project related mechanical piping design tasks.The work involves power plant piping design with particular emphasis on gas turbine based combined cycle plants, gas turbine simple cycle plants as well as cogeneration plant designs.The work also involves detailed piping layout and design using Bentley Plant Space 3D design modeling. The successful candidate must be proficient in 3D piping layout and design as well as 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation piping design. Work with project mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers as well as mechanical and electrical designers in a project team environment to affect well coordinated plant piping layout designs.
