Lead and supervise site facility managers and approximately 90 FTE's.Position Description:Reports to VP. Plans, administers and directs all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services, including financial accountability, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to healthcare facility management. Key Responsibilities * Delivers strong operational performance by executing against industry and regulatory standards and programs, continually monitoring operations and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide an optimal, proactive, safely operating facility maintenance program, which drives patient satisfaction.* Ensures compliance with appropriate safety, OSHA, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.* Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization, including conducting rounding.* Provides overall direction and manages performance for all Facility and Maintenance Managers, Supervisors and front line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with human resource related policies and standards, including conducting applicable rounding.* Develops operational component forecasts and is able to explain variances.* Ensures consistent application and regular use of all computerized maintenance management system modules to properly manage the operation.* Ensures compliance with all contract obligations.Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering or Facilities Management; Master's degree preferred* Ten plus years of acute care hospital maintenance management experience required. * Knowledge and experience of CA healthcare regulations required.* Familiar with OSHPD regulations* Working knowledge of building systems, i.e. boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC/R* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization* High degree of integrity and business maturity* P & L experience required* Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly.Job: Engineering
