The Renal Center provides renal replacement therapies to approximately 130 patients in the outpatient facility. Therapies include hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The Administrative Nurse II supervises and trains registered nurses and dialysis patient care technicians. She/he coordinates with medical staff, social workers, dieticians and physician assistants to ensure that the standard of care is maintained and provided to all end-stage renal disease patients. Under direction of the Medical Director, Division Administrator and SFGH Nursing, the Administrative Nurse II ensures compliance with hospital policies and all licensing and regulatory agencies; and serves as a role model for professional nursing practice and maintains twenty-four hour line management and responsibility for the administration of personnel, fiscal and material resources; and will perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse as determined by the California Board of Registered Nursing; a Diploma or Associate degree and two years of clinical experience; or a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing and one year of clinical experience; or a Master
