Today, with its 1,254 licensed acute care beds and 25 residential beds, California Pacific Medical Center is one of the largest private, non-profit academic medical centers in California.PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Director of the Breast Health Center, Imaging Services, and the supervision of the department manager, this position is responsible to provide individualized instruction in breast self examination, provide education and support to women with breast cancer. Education: Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of California.Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal skills. Effective public speaking and teaching skills. Commitment to continual improvement in clinical skills and knowledge base.Experience: An RN with three years of experience in medical-surgical nursing with training in oncology, or completion of continuing education program in oncology nursing; clinical experience required in lieu of degree.
