JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Summary  Renders corrective and preventive pest control
programs for the control of rats, mice, cockroaches, ants, birds,
and other general pests with registered pesticides to primarily, at
commercial, industrial, and residential facilities.  Work is
preformed out of the office, at clients facilities, under the
general supervision of the owner/manager but for the most part
independent of other employees or supervisors while at each job
site.
Duties and Responsibilities
Drive a manual 4 or 5 speed pickup truck, possibly towing a
sprayer trailer at times.  All employees are enrolled in the DMV
Pull Program which monitors both personal and business driving
records for the Company.
Use insecticide application equipment such as BG one or two
gallon sprayer, Micro-Gen, Actisol machine,System II crack and
crevice equipment, hand activated compressed air dusters,
compressor, electric and battery operated drills, screwdrivers,
extending poles, power spraying equipment filling, holding
tanks, operating .5 to 5 HP engines, pumps, hose and hose
reels, caulking gun,ladders, working on scaffolding and from a
cherry pick high rise telescoping boom.
Organize and schedule servicing of clients. Call and make
appointments.  Arrive at clients facilities on time.  Follow
designed specifications for each job, ensuring clients safety and
respecting work surroundings, property and environment.
Completely and correctly fill out all paperwork, organizing and
turning it in to the office in a timely manner.  Telephone the
office and supervisors as required and requested.
Communicated pleasantly with clients and office staff.  Record all
telephone communications from the office as they are given
retaining it in your personal notebook.  Collect checks and cash
and correctly record the entries as required, turning in the same
to the office as required/requested.
Meet all Continuing Education requirements for renewal of
license at own expense and on own time.  As Company policy, all
certified Applicators are subject to the same Continuing
Education requirements of licensed Field Representative.
Attend mandatory monthly Company meetings unless specifically
excused by management e.g. vacation, sick, special
assignments.
Work on-call after hours or on weekends through answering
service as specific times during the year on a rotating basis.
Position requires use of personal safety equipment, including but
not limited to gloves, boots, safety glasses, googles, bmp cap, or
hard hat with face, shield, protective outer coveralls, respirator
or full face respirator, bee bonnet and gloves. disposable
coveralls , safety harness, ear plugs, seat belt.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Must be able to stand, kneel, pull, push, stoop, lay down, sit,
crawl, bend, reach, lift up and overhead, lean, walk on uneven
surfaces, climb, balance, carry up to 50 lbs., and have manual
dexterity.
Must be able to wear respirator.  If using corrective glasses, they
must be worn under safety goggles contact lenses cannot be
worn with a full-face respirator.
Must be able to read, understand, and follow all Federal State
and local ordinances, including all label directions regarding the
use of pesticides, and to follow all Company policies and Good
Practice Statements, in English.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education equivalent to the completion of 12th grade.
Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
Provide discharge papers from military service, if applicable.
Provide authorization to contact and acquire scope if complete
file from prior employers
Provide current DMV printout, deleting personal information
unrelated to traffic infractions e.g., birth date, personal
description, ect.
Care and attention to vehicle maintenance , personal and public
safety and overall professionalism.
