position will report to the Supervisor, Customer
Care in the Sourcing department. The Senior
Procurement Specialist will assist in managing
spend categories within the Customer Care
portfolio, supporting the Customer Energy
Solutions CES organization.QualificationsMinimum
Qualifications---------------------------
Required BA/BS or equivalent experience required
one year of
experience for every one year of college
Required 4 years of supply chain or other
related discipline
Desired Qualifications---------------------------
MBA or equivalent degree desired
6-7 years supply chain or other related discipline
Six Sigma, CPSM, or related
CertificateResponsibilitiesPROCUREMENT AND
CONTRACT DEVELOPMENT Work
collaboratively with key line of business partners
and subject matter experts to develop and write
contracts through negotiations and/or competitive
bid processes. Examples of contract related work
products include Master Service Agreements, Long
and Short Form
Contracts, Change Orders, Contract Work
Authorizations, Request for Proposals and related
reports, letters and correspondences. Support
governance of contract approval process from
contract creation through contract award. Review
purchase orders and contracts as
part of procurement approval process.
SOURCING AND NEGOTIATIONS Develop and maintain
specific knowledge and expertise, as well as
familiarity with general market conditions and
trends in order to conduct negotiations with
contractors to establish
contract terms, mitigate risk and reduce overall
cost. Conduct and document market research and
supplier risk analysis to verify the financial
health of existing and potential suppliers.
Develop and implement negotiation strategies to
meet cost savings and diversity
targets.
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT Engage in active coordination
and communication with clients and partners to
understand internal business needs. Identify new
opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness
and service excellence to clients. Assist
internal business clients with the development and
documentation of business requirements and
solutions.
