<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Security Appliance ArchitectJob ID  2366Division  CRIJob Location  U.S. - San FranciscoJob Category  EngineeringResponsibilities:&bull; Specify, develop and deploy C/C++/Java applications, middleware, tools and scripts for network security appliances&bull; Coordinate testing, packaging, and delivery of software, hardware, and production data in a high security environment&bull; Create software, process and tools to manage keys, configurations, and customer deliverables.&bull; Work with a team to build a networked security platform designed for high availability, scalability, manageability and extensibilityRequirements:&bull; BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related degree preferred; but substantial, relevant, outstanding work experience may substitute in some cases&bull; C /C++ and Java programming experience&bull; At least ten years of relevant professional engineering experience&bull; Very high technical competence that includes a track record of innovative problem solving and individual technical accomplishments&bull; Significant experience and high degree of competency in all of the following areas:o Network/content security protocols, features, and policieso Network security appliance applications (Firewalls, UTMs, IDS/IPA, VPN, Vulnerability)o Platforms using hardware security modules (local HSMs), SafeNet, Thaleso Distributed computing, clusters, virtualization, high availability, load balancingo RASM: reliable, available, serviceable and manageable systems.o Security and authentication technologies and applicationso Performance, load and stress benchmarking and testingo Applied cryptography and cryptographic protocols including key managementPreferred:&bull; Experience with or willingness to learn about semiconductor manufacturing test and assembly flow
