infrastructures and cloud platforms. You have very

systems to solve security problems that have been
traditionally addressed by vertically scaling and
often expensive technology solutions.
The Security Architect will partner with RD,
infrastructure engineering and operations ensuring
secure design and implementation of next
generation platform and infrastructure services.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate sound
technical leadership, playing a vital role in
designing, enhancing, and implementing technical
security solutions while scaling infrastructure
and application platforms.  The Architect will
think strategically when selecting methods,
techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining
results.  Candidates excel in the areas of on
long-term technological capability and operating
cost optimization and are adept at influencing
change/improvement in the organization beyond
their own division.  Candidates will have
experience driving both engineering and
architectural best practices broadly throughout an
organization, and a history of mentoring
architects and engineers alike in both career
direction as well as industry trends and market
disruptions.  Strong candidates will be intensely
customer focused, understanding customers
challenges and constantly looking for ways to
solve them.  The candidate must enjoy working in a
fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Skills/Experience Required
    BS degree or higher with 10+ years of
relevant, broad engineering experience
    Deep hands#8208on technical expertise in large
scale Linux systems engineering, building complex
distributed systems architectures, and working on
massive global networks
    Experience in secure systems design and
engineering, and security procedures.
    Experience with network architecture
including experience with load balancing
equipment, switches, routers, and network
troubleshooting.
    Understanding of IP communication and basic
packet structure, as it pertains to security
    Understanding of common Web and application
server expertise security threats like cross site
scripting, SQL injections, and buffer overflows
    Detailed Understanding of Network,
application, and data security best practices.
    Though leader in applying technology to
simplify implementation of security
    Experience with multiple application
frameworks and potential security risks
    Experience in an high volume
Internet/Ecommerce operational environment, and
full understanding of the operational needs in
these environments
