Develop security strategy for RD and Technical
Operations.
Advise the Technology team on security best
practices.
Partner with Security teams in the RD,
Technical Operations, and Trust organizations to
gain alignment and deliver on our security vision.
Represent salesforce.com externally in the
security community.
Present to customers and prospects.  Meet with
their Information Technology and Information
Security experts in order to earn their trust and
explain how our trust architecture promotes
salesforce as a trusted partner capable of
securely hosting their corporate information in
our service.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Expert in application security, infrastructure
security and network security.
15+ years of technology leadership experience,
with specific focus on Security in companies with
a significant online business.
5+ years experience leading 24x7xforever support
for security in production systems.
5+ years Software Development experience.
Proven track record in developing effective
solutions to diverse and complex business
problems.
Experience formulating and communicating the
cost effectiveness benefit of security initiatives
in the context of overall business risk mitigation
and the companys operational objectives. Ability
to compare, contrast and prioritize among
alternative approaches to meet those objectives.
A track record of assessing threat and
vulnerability from a business and the ability to
develop and champion affordable, efficient and
timely security architectures and solutions that
support growth of the enterprises business.
Demonstrated success in establishing executive
relationships and influencing executive decision-
making.
Familiarity with multi-platform environments and
their operational/security considerations.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science
