You have experience in building services using REST or Webservices. You have experience working with writing interfaces to Amazon Mechanical Turk. You have experience in building generic service framework to deal with Amazon Mechanical Turk. You written carefully crafted code that efficiently creates AMT HITS(Human Interactive Tasks) from the XML files or Database records. And writing JOBS that can post the HITS to AMT and collect the responses from AMT. You have experience working in a development environment using tools and frameworks like Java/J2EE, REST/Web services, Eclipse, MySQL and Subversion. You understand and can describe what a good software architecture consists of and why it''s essential to a successful company. You like working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a small dynamic team of highly qualified engineers using cutting edge technology.Responsibilities:* Building a generic service framework that can interact with Amazon mechanical Turk to post the HITS and gather the responses.* Direct Experience in working with Amazon Mechanical Turk.* Implement server-side components and services using Java, REST/Webservices, and MySQL.* Evolve feature and ideas into well-structured architectural components.* Engage in design reviews with team members, partners, and users.* Stay up-to-date on Hollywood gossip (come on, you know you love it).Requirements:* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.* At least 5 years of Experience programming in Java and 1 year experience with REST/Webservice.* Experience in dealing with Amazon mechanical Turk.* Experience with SQL and relational database structures.* Knowledge of ANY Content Management Platform a plus.* Experience with Lucene and/or SOLR a plus.If you meet most or all of these requirements, please apply with a resume and describe why you think you''d be the perfect fit for Sugar Inc.
