JOB SUMMARY:

Analyze, design, testing, install, documentation,
implementation and support of global converged
network technologies.
Analyze and recommend contemporary and emerging
technologies for deployment across the enterprise
include but not limited to MPLS WAN in a dual
carrier cloud, QoS policies, marking and policy
map.
Proficient in IP routing protocols including BGP,
EIGRP, OSPF, and IP Multicast.
Act as point of contact to Global Application
owners on Proxy and authentication technologies.
Identifying actions necessary to improve
performance, functionality and availability of
proxy service.
Providing and analyzing capacity trend data and
forecasting future requirements.
Provide Sniffer capture and decode. Perform
detailed packet analysis via data packet capture
to rule out network issues and provide diagnostics
for application and server problems.
Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for
internal and external customers detailing
configuration of deployed solutions.
This position also provides high level support and
training for the IT network operation team.
Resolve operational issues involving routers,
switches in a multi routing infrastructure OSPF,
BGP.
Help resolve complex IT issues in a Tier 3
capacity.
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
Network certification, such as CCNP or CCVP.
Ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of
experience with technology in a similar role.
Expert in at least two or more of the following
Proxy solutions Bluecoat, Cisco, Websense, and
Zscaler.
Knowledge of load balancing concepts Global
Service Load Balancer.
Knowledge of how PAC Proxy Automatic
Configuration works, constructs, and
troubleshoots.
Experience in configure, fine tune and
troubleshoot web servers Apache, IIS.
Experience in analyze and address malware, virus,
phishing exploits.
Working knowledge of the IP protocol suite,
specifically relating to the applications and
services that run above these protocols SSH,
NNTP, DNS, SMTP, IMAP, SSL, HTTP/HTML, SFTP, FTP.
Demonstrate proficiency with the design,
provisioning and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN
connectivity technologies.
Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as
well as identifying problems in advanced and
proposing solutions.
Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN/WAN/MAN
technologies.
Comprehensive hands on experience with Cisco ISR
routers, Catalyst 6500 switches, ASA 5500 security
devices, WAN Application Acceleration, F5 Load
Balance.
Proficiency working with access control list
ACLs, TCP/IP. IPSEC, VLAN, VRF, Traffic Shaping,
Priority Queuing, Class of Service CoS, IP
routing, WCCP and PBR.
Proficiency with EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP routing
protocols.
Strong communication skills both written and
verbal and an eye for quality and detail.
Strong analytical and organizational skills,
including attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple
objectives and initiatives.
