Minimum
B.S./B.A. or equivalent job experience
Minimum of 3 years experience with use of the
Incident Command System
Minimum of 3 years business continuity
management and/or emergency response
experience with a focus on planning, training, and
exercising pertaining to business continuity
Incident Command System ICS 100-400 training
complete
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Strong procedure/technical writing skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and
PowerPoint
Desired
5 years of electric utility industry experience
Knowledge of PGEs emergency response
operations
SharePoint, Relational database experience
Certified Emergency Manager or C.E.M
Certified Business Continuity Professional or
C.B.C.P.
National Incident Management System NIMS
Certification
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced
environment
Detail oriented, must be able to pay acute
attention to detailResponsibilities
Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity
* Facilitate the completion of Electric
Operations Business Impact Analysis BIA and
Business
Continuity Plans BCPs for four mission critical
company electric lines of business continuity
plans
i. e., Manage Emergency Response, Respond to
Unplanned Events, Real-time Operations and
Controls, and Emergency Field Response.
* Coordinate the maintenance, training and
exercises for four mission critical company
electric
lines of business continuity plans Manage
Emergency Response, Respond to Unplanned Events,
Real-time Operations and Controls, and Emergency
Field Response.
Emergency Operations Plans
* Annually update and develop training for the
Electric Emergency Operations Plan
* Coordinate the California Public Utilities
Commission CPUC annual General Order GO 166
filing.
Enterprise Risk Management Activities Represent
Distribution Operations at multiple enterprise
risk management committees.
Miscellaneous Emergency Management Assignments
* Be available to respond to emergency events, and
to support staff at the Emergency Operations
Center, the Regional Emergency Center and the
Operations Emergency Center
* Assist in company and electric operations
exercise development, support ICS training
program,
and address other tasks designed to facilitate
success of the Emergency Management goals.
