Here, working students have the opportunity to get an education, whether their goal is an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree.Position SummaryThe Social Media Insights Manager will join a growing Social Media team tasked with revolutionizing the way University of Phoenix goes to market with advertising, provides customer service to students, and engages with the community at large. We are undergoing a significant brand evolution – transitioning from the University that helps students rise and overcome, to the University that stands for career success and excellence/effectiveness in higher education – and intend to heavily leverage social media to effectively understand brand perception and which initiatives are driving shift in sentiment. Through content published to our social media brand pages – including editorial articles, conversation starters, videos, photos, etc – we will deliver on this new brand promise by shaping discussions around careers & education, providing value and advice broadly to career seekers, and actively engaging with the community. The Social Media Insights Manager will lead the charge on translating social conversation volume into actionable insights – including identifying key influencers in higher education, understanding top brand misperceptions, analyzing current student behaviors/interests/beliefs, estimating the impact of new campaigns by region – for use throughout the organization. He/she will serve as the team’s go-to expert on all social media data, pulling metrics from multiple sources including Radian6, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Analytics, etc and tracking team performance metrics with an Executive-level KPI reporting dashboard.
