<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse possesses the
knowledge and clinical skills to assist the
Cathing Physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures, on patients ranging from post-
adolescence to geriatric on the age continuum.
He/she works in collaboration with the Cath Lab
technologist to assure positive patient outcomes.
He/she is responsible to the Manager of Cath
Lab./Cardiology. Applies Dignity Health  Core
Values to the performance of every job duty. These
Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice,
Stewardship, and Excellence. Possess the knowledge
of both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac
catheterization procedures and techniques, which
includes equipment, accessories, surgical
procedures, sterile technique, patient assessment,
hemodynamic monitoring and nursing intervention.
A minimum of three years3recent experience as a
staff nurse in an acute care hospital, one 1 of
which is a year of recent experience in cardiac
cath lab with demonstrated knowledge of
hemodynamic monitoring. Electrophysiology
experience is vastly preferred. A valid California
Registered Nurse license. Current Basic Cardiac
Life Support Certification, ACLS required...For
