Focuses on the development of relationships, listening to customer needs and providing product solutions and customer service that exceeds their expectations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Responsible for calling on EMS staff and decision makers including private and municipal ambulance services, fire departments, volunteer EMS services and key accounts to identify potential sales opportunities.2. Develops and implements business plans to identify and close identified business. May actively participate in cold calling efforts to increase sales leads. Prepares forecast for yearly, quarterly and monthly business.3. Responsible for keeping the EMS Regional Sales Manager informed of all sales related activity, market trends, and competitor activity within the territory.4. Participates in sales workshops, sales meetings, and/or promotional activities as requested by EMS Regional Sales Manager.5. Provides customer base with excellent post-sale follow up (in-service training and product repairs).6. Trains, manages and sell to national regional contracted distributors throughout defined territory.7. Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.8. Actively participates in national, state and local EMS trade shows by ensuring transportation, set up and demonstration product.9. Effectively manages large geographic territory (some multi-state).10. Contributes to leading in product innovation by listening and working with others and contributing new ideas.11.
