At Gensler, you will be part of a creative, collaborative finance team dedicated to innovative problem solving and service excellence.This fast-paced Global Design Firm needs an experienced Treasury Specialist for a temporary assignment to supplement the Corporate Finance Team. The Treasury Specialist is responsible for the day to day operations of the treasury team, ensures adequate funding of the global operations, and manages the foreign exchange risk of the company. The Treasury Specialist will work closely with various teams including Risk Management, Tax, Finance, Global Support and regional account teams.Major Responsibilities:* Assist and provide to support to Finance Manager* Oversee global cash management, credit activities and maintain operational banking relationships.* Ensure adherence to and ongoing review/improvement of treasury policies and processes.* Ensure the firm remains in compliance with its investment policy and report regularly to the CFO and Finance & Audit Committee on status.* Research and analyze currency and foreign markets for business and economic risk at the request of senior leaders perusing business opportunities.* Obtain or build cash flow forecasts, evaluate working capital, and organize funding for the various global entities.* Research and recommend country specific investment options that are in line with the firm’s investment policy.* Maintain the Treasury workstation (Kyriba).* Monitor country specific and regional macroeconomic trends and recommend actions to address the impact on financial risks and funding cost.* Assume the lead on special projects or prepare ad hoc reports requiring analysis of data as needed.* Work alongside and provide mentorship to treasury teamQualities:* Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment* Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to manage complex projects* Strong customer service orientation; a team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships* Strong analytical financial skills and demonstrated business acumen.* Track record of fostering an inclusive and engaging environment.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related subject* CTP or CPA preferred* Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience* Strong problem solving and relationship management skills.* Must have the proven capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.* Experience in global or multi-currency accounting environment viewed favorably* Experience in A/E/C or professional services industry is desirable.Gensler is an Equal Opportunity Employer + participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.
