Invest in you!Job Summary:The Trust Specialist Professional Fiduciary Services ("PFS") reports to the Group Business Manager ("GBM") PFS Alliances and has overall responsibility for a designated sales territory in the PFS Alliances program. The position is a revenue generating position and new sales are expected to be substantial after an initial ramp up period. The PFS Alliances line of business is a new channel of distribution for Union Bank, NA ("Union") and requires a new way of developing business. The Trust Specialist PFS Alliance will work with Alliance partner's branch managers and product specialists and an Alliance partner's Financial Advisors to identify and generate new fee business for Union Bank. Additional non-Alliance fee revenue should also be developed when appropriate in the designated sales territory.Major Responsibilities:70% Sales (Relationship with Alliance Partner Personnel, Information Gathering, Underwriting, Document Interpretation, etc.): The Trust Specialist PFS Alliance is responsible for a designated territory and the Financial Advisors, branch managers and trust intermediaries within the territory. PFS Alliance will be working with approximately 1,500 Financial Advisors in many Alliance partner branches. Major activities for the Trust Specialist include:Introductory meetings in branches,Periodic training programs in branches,Establishing and maintaining good relationships with branch office managers,Identifying the key Financial Advisors that will provide recurring sales,Communicating with FAs and Alliance partner product Specialists on a consistent basis,Establish relationships with other Alliance partner internal and external wholesalers,Knowing and understand the PFS Alliances approved investment programs, pricing and uses.The Trust Specialist PFS is responsible for gathering information once a new business opportunity has been identified. The Trust Specialist PFS is required to obtain the information necessary to open an account, mitigate risk and comply with the BSA, AML and KYC rules. Reviews documents for the purpose of making initial decisions on the portability of the trust and whether Union Bank will continue to look at the trust because of family issues, document terms, size or concentrations. Future Appoints are reviewed by a Trust Specialists for suitability before sending the documents to the vault. The Trust Administrator discusses the case with the Trust Administration Manager to obtain a trust officer assignment, completes sales reports, pipeline activity and expense reports on a timely basis.25% Teamwork: The Trust Specialist PFS Alliance interacts with Trust Administration and each of the niche products and service areas providing services to the Alliance accounts. Collects and communicates information for real estate, closely held business and works with client's attorneys, trust document reviewers, provides recommended trust language, identifies sources of wealth,
