<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Financial Analyst will be part of the planning analysis team under the finance department and shall be responsible for analyzing any and all facets of business at Soboba Casino.  The analyst will be responsible for producing reports based on numerous data points which will enable management to make more informed business decisions and provide management with analysis summaries and recommendations based on findings. The Analyst shall assist in the research and analysis of casino related events, functions and direct mail promotions. The Analyst shall work with the Director of Finance, Finance department and Operational departments to develop operational and capital budgets. Essential Functions:Assist the Assistant General Manager in the development of the annual budget, monthly financial analysis and ad hoc analysis for operations department.Provide analysis of slot performance to the Assistant General Manager and Slot Manager through the use of Casino CAD, Acres reports and the MAS accounting system.Provide statistical and analytical support in the development, implementation and evaluation of all operations departments programs.Maximize slot revenues by providing the Slot Manager with reports and analyses using Casino CAD and Acres reports, which will be used to determine machine placement and relocation, game conversions and overall slot performance.Other Functions:Analyze complex financial performance models and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control or action.Establish a database of relevant financial information for use in projections and forecasts.Insure accurate slot files with Revenue Audit and Financial Accounting.Provide return on investment analysis/reports for slot relocations, new game installs/removals and conversions.Oversee the operation of the slot system and report variances with recommended improvements to the Assistant General Manager and Slot Manager.Investigate and provide detailed analysis of slot system cheating attempts, malfunctions, and irregularities to the Assistant General Manager and Slot Manager.Analyze and evaluate new gaming equipment on the market and submit recommendations to the Slot Manager.Maintain working knowledge of applicable gaming laws (federal, state, and local), company policies and company internal controls (MICS). All other relevant duties as assigned.RequirementsGAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIREDSkills/Abilities: Advanced in Microsoft Office, Excel and other computer applications.Must have well-rounded financial analysis and report writing skills.Ability to evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.Ability to make written and verbal presentations.5 years of analytical experience in the gaming industry, preferably in the slot and financial areas.Education/Experience:Associate's degree in business administration or mathematics, or equivalent gaming industry experience.High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.Certificates, licenses, and registration:Ability to obtain and maintain Soboba Gaming Commission license.Required to submit to and pass all drug and alcohol testing.Performance Standards:Act as a team member within the department and with other employees; collaborating with management and staff on department and company projects and assignments; employing a best practices approach to assigned tasks and responsibilities.Maintain a high level of organization to maximize productivity when performing daily tasks and responsibilities, to include maintaining an orderly and neat work area.Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the workplace, including standards for appropriate dress and appearance; respect for other team members; satisfactory attendance; open communication; superior job knowledge; a desire to succeed; and in all other activities where you represent Soboba Casino.Act as a department champion, promoting the department
