<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Modern FPGA software development systems like Alteras Quartus tool chain are incredibly sophisticated and fully-featured. Combined with million logic-element designs and complex customer system on a chip SOC platforms, this presents challenges to even the most experienced customer design teams.  Work with Alteras largest worldwide customer accounts to optimize the customer design flows for the latest software tools features and newest FPGA hardware architectures. Work directly with the software developers to highlight challenges and bottlenecks in future devices. Help plan future tool needs based on customer interactions. Bridge the gap between what is possible with our industry-leading technology and what is achievable by our customers. Work with early beta customers who are using Alteras leading FPGA families before general customer release.
The successful candidates minimum qualifications will include the following
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience in hardware design, or applications engineering experience
Minimum of 2 years experience working with FPGA technology, FPGA software or equivalent EDA chip-design software
Strong scripting skills TCL, PERL, or PYTHON
Proven track-record of strong customer focus
Excellent communication skills
