The Market Development Specialist will be
responsible for the implementation and monitoring
of new programs driving the strategic directives
of the U.S. market development function as well as
assisting in the ongoing management of momentum
activities around existing programs for Covidiens
Endovenous and Endoarterial businesses. This
position will have responsibility of interacting
closely with the sales force, treating and
referring physicians and physician societies and
executing market development program tactics such
as national and local market patient education
programs, sales force and physician training on
market development initiatives and the development
and management of collateral materials. The role
will be based in either San Jose, CA or Plymouth,
Minnesota and report directly to the Director of
Market Development.
Principal Accountabilities
Market Development Programs
Manage market development programs from inception
to completion, providing routine status updates to
the team
Represent the market development function in
tradeshow planning, development of dedicated booth
properties, attend tradeshows as needed
Execute new / existing program launches directed
at professional treating and referring and
patient audiences
Partner with third parties to accelerate
awareness, diagnosis, and treatment of arterial
and venous diseases
Training
Quarterly field travel to determine the value and
usage of market development programs and
materials. Provide feedback and recommendations to
the team.
Implement improvements to existing market
development programs and materials as needed.
