This role will focus on developing the methodology for using social analytics software to answer business questions and derive insights, developing a training course with real-world examples, training parts of the organization, and conducting ad-hoc analysis based on requests from the organization. The data leveraged for analysis will include Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and other social media such as blogs and forums.Primary job responsibilities: . Develop social analytics guidelines and best practices to be used in answering business and product questions. . Develop Social Media Analytics training course suitable for analysts, product managers, marketing, and PR. . Provide Social Listening and Social Analytics training to cross functional groups. . Provide ad-hoc social media related listening and analytics reports to cross-functional teams. . Identify actionable insights and recommendations for social marketing initiatives. . Work cross-functionally to implement latest learnings in social monitoring, data mining, and measuring business performance approaches related to social media. . Drive world class use of social data in one of the top e-commerce brands with help of cutting edge technologies. Job Requirements . Superior communication skills - verbal, written presentation skills. Ability to create clear and compelling training material and deliver training classes to users with a wide range and knowledge of social analytics . Proficiency in social media analytics products e.g. Radian6, Attensity, PeopleBrowsr, Metrica . Strong Excel skills e.g. pivot tables, advance functions, and a working knowledge of PowerPoint . Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines in a dynamic/changing environment . High energy, strong work ethic, willingness to do whatever it takes to get to the results . Team player attitude, partnering, and collaboration skills .
