This individual is responsible for the organization of the regional tissue office to which they are assigned. This person is also active in assisting the donor information department in clearing tissue donor charts. We concentrate our efforts on the recovery of vital organs such as lungs, heart, liver, kidneys, heart-lung and pancreas from deceased donors and placement of these organs with the over 100,000 people who are currently waiting for a life-saving organ transplant in our country. The company also recovers corneas and a variety of tissues. Responsible for the timely review, organization, coding and submission of all accounts payable fromregional office to the Director of Tissue2. Organize and maintain fleet maintenance records3. Organize vehicle maintenance4. Donor data entry into tissue donor software database5. Arrange conference calls and coordinate meetings6. Order and maintain office supplies7. Generate reports for tissue management on tissue donor volumes by tissue and hospital8. Create weekly donor specific reports for Family Services9. Prepare and maintain monthly call schedule for tissue recovery services10. Act as Donor Information Assistant on an as needed basis.a. Chart entry into tissue donor databaseb. Chart completionc. Contact Coroner’s office and hospitals for missing informationd. Contact donors Primary Care Physicians for interviewe. Reviews daily, weekly, and monthly missing information reports from processing partners andensures that all processors receive regular feedback regarding the status of individual donorrecords.11. Coordinates services for facility, most notably janitorial, waste, linen, security, and IT services.12. Take minutes at tissue department weekly or monthly meetings as requested.13. Maintains a safe environment and respects confidentiality at all times.14. Supports the organization’s core values as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and the mission,vision and values15.
