Program Administrator Extended Education Specialist I
California State University San Marcos seeks a Program
Administrator in the department of Extended Learning.  Under
the supervision of the Associate Dean this position is responsible
for 1 coordinating and planning, developing and managing
degree and non-degree programs for assigned program
disciplines 2 identifying and developing new program areas,
3 facilitating department/instructor/student/course offerings
and needs, and 4 promoting programs through outreach,
recruitment, marketing and communication.  The position works
closely with Student Services and assigned College, School or
Departments.

Minimum Qualifications include
Graduation from a four-year college or university, preferably
with courses in adult education and curriculum planning, plus
two years of experience in educational program planning
preferably in higher, extended, or adult education or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in developing resources, budget and marketing
plans for educational programs preferred.
Experience serving as a liaison with faculty/departments and
the community is desirable.
Knowledge of the CSU and CSUSM system is preferred.
Salary and Position Status
Full-time, temporary position with benefits ending on or
before June 30, 2013.  The position may continue beyond June
30, 2013 based upon the availability of funds.
Salary Range $3,671 - $5,226/month
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range $3,671 - $4,200/month
Opening Date  October 30, 2012
Position Open Until Filled  first review of applications will

Successful candidate for this position will be offered the
