Assists investigating unit regulatory deficiencies, and develops and implements a plan to correct any deficiencies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Supervision of clinical staff for all public sector business lines.* Interviews, recommends for hire, and evaluates staff; counsels and confronts unsatisfactory performance promptly and fairly and administers corrective action.* Identifies department goals and objectives, develops and communicates action plans through regular staff meetings and other communications, uses team approach to problem solving and sets clear expectations.* Identifies training needs and develops and participates in staff training. Provides a challenging and supportive environment and delegates appropriately. Seeks additional training opportunities through outside sources.* Conducts training sessions designed to update, improve, or upgrade knowledge and skills of others.* Provides evidence-based analysis of medical management practices.* Interfaces with Medical Management associates and management team related to identifying and prioritizing system modifications and process improvements.* Keeps current on industry trends and new developments.REQUIREMENTS:Education:Master&#39;s Degree Behaviorial Health Specialty, PhD preferredCertification/License:* Valid Behavorial Health License:  MFT; LCSW; PsychologistExperience:* Knowledge of Medicare* Minimum five years clinical experience* Three years management experience in a Behaviorial Health care environment* Previous management experience in managed care operations* Experience with planning, leading and organizing the resources of a team is desired* Experience coaching, counseling and administering corrective action* Experience with QI conducting audits and monitory clinical quality.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:* Broad knowledge base of health care delivery and case-care management within a managed care environment* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Demonstrates ability to develop and manage projects* Demonstrates skills to identify problems, secure relevant information, develop alternative courses of action and make appropriate decisions based on logical assumptions reflective of factual information and sound reasoning * Skills to maintain effective working relationships with contacts which is required in the performance of required duties* Ability to operate PC based word processing* Ability to inter
