<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Data Verification Analysts are part of the
Data Quality team to perform quality reviews
through field assessments, interviews, and data
collection and analysis. The team performs checks
of PGE?s gas operations Data Verification
projects to determine if requirements are being
met and to evaluate if process controls are
sufficient. Results are presented in reports of
sufficient detail to enable management to plan
corrective actions and prevent future problems
from occurring.
The Data Verification Analyst has sufficient
experience and knowledge to perform many QA/QC
functions and to make recommendations for
improvements. This position completes assignments
of moderate scope and complexity and receives
little instruction on day-to-day work and general
guidance on new assignments. Routinely provides
input into analysis and reports. Participates on
project teams and communicates with peers, both
inside and outside the company to select methods,
approaches, and tactics to resolve problems and
obtain solutions. Occasionally asks for additional
roles or responsibilities and seeks ways to seeks
ways to develop expertise in these areas.
Qualifications
Minimum
3 years related experience
Understands fundamental technical/professional
concepts.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint.
Able to evaluate and analyze audit evidence and
assist in the development of audit results.
Travel required 10% of time. Most travel can be
accomplished daily however, occasional overnight
stays required.
Desired
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent
ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Specialist
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other
applicable field of study
2 years journey level field experience, auditing
experience, or quality experience
Knowledge of internal regulatory requirements
