The General Manager will support various accounts in the district and will eventually manage the Food and Nutrition department for one of our Hospital accounts. Credentials for the General Manager include Certified Dietary Manager certification, Registered Dietitians or have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition. Qualifications include prior GM level experience as Director of Food and Nutrition Services in a healthcare environment. Preferred experience with new account openings, experience in increasing patient satisfaction scores, knowledge of various patient dining programs including room service and tray line operations, and ability to develop food programs to drive retail cafe sales. Flexibility to work various schedules required. Some travel required.Position Summary:Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract.
