and directs detailed mechanical design of RF
electronics products and components for RF
electronic manufacturer. Perform tolerance
analysis studies on designs. Interfaces with
vendors, internal engineering, and manufacturing
departments as necessary to produce appropriate
mechanical designs. Independently communicate with
customers. Directs and performs sustaining
engineering in support of current designs in
production. Directs and participates in producing
and updating bills of materials for designs and
tracks deliveries to ensure schedules are met.
Prepares and participates in design reviews. Act
as a technical lead and/or project engineer.
Requirements Bachelors degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering or a
related field and 8 years experience in mechanical
design for RF electronic products and background
in 1 mechanical design of RF cavity filters,
tower mounted amplifiers, remote radio heads
repeater systems 2 thermal simulations using
FlowTherm 3 mechanical simulations using
SolidWorks 4 die casting processes for RF
electronics products 5 high-volume RF
electronics manufacturing processes 6 RF PCBAs,
connectors, interfaces  related electronic
specifications 7 RF electronics project
management 8 collaborating with customers
vendors to determine mechanical
requirements/specifications 9 agile change
management system and 10 advanced RF filter RD.
