<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Perform FEA studies to analyze different designs as well as thermal cutting and ablation manufacturing processes including thermal, structural, dynamic, if needed using both with hand calculations and simulation software. Work with design and manufacturing teams to conduct DOEs using those results refine and validate FEA models. Must be able to work across functional boundaries to gather information needed to understand problems, ability to leverage teams and motivate a team environment. Working knowledge of properties of materials such as silicon, ceramics, metals, plastics and elastomers and material models nonlinearity, anisotropy, etc. Create, modify and review 3D models and technical drawings, and ensure drawings and designs adhere to established specifications and standards.  Support planning and design of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, work force utilization and workplace safety.  Plan, design and implement production processes to maximize efficiency of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, work force utilization and workplace safety. Ability to clearly communicate with vendors/subcontractors and customers. Proficiency with FEA simulation of moving heat source problems such as laser cutting and thermal, thermo-mechanical and structural problems regarding semiconductor and biomedical industrial applications. Work conducted under the supervision of the technical manager.
