QCT is the number 1 fabless semiconductor company in the world.This position of Staff Sourcing Specialist, QCA Procurement SAT Operations is to effectively manage all business activities of QCA SAT Suppliers, reporting to and partnering with Procurement, SAT Operations Team.Responsible for the strategic aspects of procurement for RF & Digital devices from SAT Suppliers, including:Cost: Overall purchase cost management of assigned devices including supplier negotiations, strategic, annual budget and new product cost projections. Work with cross functional groups to ensure accuracy of formal cost model submissions, track progress to plan and drive product cost reductions to achieve the business unit cost requirements.Strategic Supply: Secure wafer capacity with development of a quarterly long term forecast taking into consideration the product transition scenarios and drivers and overall supplier TAM strategy. Collaborate with Supply management on the monthly forecast factoring in changes in demand and overall alignment with the Long Term Forecast plan.Sourcing: Develop and drive end to end sourcing plan that aligns with QCTs strategic sourcing plan objectives. Secure buy-in with key stake holders and approval through the strategic sourcing council. Closely collaborate with engineering, program management, sales and teams on development to customer sample, ramp and transition of volume from 1st source to 2nd source.* Build and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with all suppliers.Responsibilities Skills/Experience 10-15 years experience in semiconductor industry.* Professional demeanor and ''can do'' attitude.* Requires a team player who is highly flexible, able to multi-task, manage and drive a number of concurrent projects with-in the strategic objectives established.* Experience in the semiconductor chip business is required.* Prior experience in the business aspects of supplier management.* Able to work effectively with a wide variety of functions and management levels within QCT.* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.* Polished presentation and PowerPoint skills, attention to detail while maintaining focus on the key messages, deliverables and goals.* Advanced experience with Excel , Words, Power point is a MUST* Experience with Cognos (TM1) is desirable* Familiarity with manufacturing is a MUSTEducation Requirements Educational Requirements Required: Bachelor''s, Business Administration and/or EngineeringPreferred: Master''s, Business Administration and/or Engineering*LI-SRCKeywords
