Generate Scorecards for QBRs.- Develop & maintain US Transportation SOPs updated with new processes that are implemented as NV US biz grows- Ensure timely closure of transit delay exception reports. Drive transit time/exception reductions by meeting weekly & quarterly with core carriers to identify root cause; drive improvements through Supplier CAR System.- Interface with IT and other departments to develop and implement enhancements to systems including assisting with overall design, test, and communication in support of Transportation/Logistics projects.- Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations with internal customers.- Ensures company policy, systems, and industry related training is given to US shipping personnel, as needed, to ensure full compliance with IATA/DOT Dangerous Goods regulations.- Manage & maintain Global Lithium Battery Compliance program & establish/perform shipping audit processes.- Handle day to day operational escalations, including follow-up on hot shipments- Ensure Routing Guide & PO Instructions are maintained & carrier selection is being complied with (e.g., carriers, weight break, etc). Follow up to ensure compliance and set guidelines for measurements & reporting.- Manage Global damage/loss claim processes & ensure shipping depts. are complying to processes and closing claims timely.- Publish & develop packaging processes to help reduce risk/loss on NVIDIA products- Create procedures to improve/streamline Logistics processes and ensure processes are documented in ECO/ECN Document Control System- Assist with implementing new transportation lanes and implementing optimization projects related to Supply Chain Logistics/Transportation- Helps manage 3rd party Freight Payment company & associated audit/coding rules.- Develops and trains US Shipping Depts on Traffic/Transportation topics to ensure efficient, cost effective, operational excellence. Liaisons with other support groups to ensure processes are followed.- Assist in implementing transit times/carriers within ERP system- Experience in people management, including providing performance evaluations & dealing with conflict managementMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- BA or BS degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics.- 7 to 10 years experience in Transportation/Logistics (tactical & strategic)- 7 to 10 years of people management experience of exempt and non-exempt employees- Expert in transportation/logistics/small package courier/freight forwarding terminology and Incoterms 2000 & 2010. A must.- Excellent attention to detail & proactivity is a must; ability to drive process improvement- Strong Leadership skills. Ability to work independently with little direction/supervision- Knowledge of current IATA & DOT DGR regulations (related to Lithium Battery shipping), transportation law and import/export documentation. A must.- Computer skills to include Excel (pivots, subtotals, etc.), Outlook, Word, PowerPoint- Possess excellent interpersonal skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to develop productive relationships within teams.- Strong analytical, logic & problem solving capabilities with ability to do in-depth research- Applicants must be professional, organized and able to meet deadlines under a fast paced environment; ability to multi task multiple high priority projects at once while handling tactical operations- Highly customer service orientated with a sense of urgency- Thinks proactively, broadly, and out of the box- APICS Certification a plus- SAP Experience preferredEOE
