<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Under direct super vision of the Maintenance Manager, performs basic equipment maintenance including pipe installation,  fabrication, new install pump, gearbox, and machine parts as required. Works under guidance of plant engineer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include but not limited to the categories listed below. Duties and Responsibilities also encompass other functions as needed and assigned.
Executes assignments received from the Maintenance Manager in a timely and accurate fashion with the objective of minimizing downtime and maximizing quality, safety, and run time.
Maintains equipment and facilities in a safe operating condition.
Makes operating line adjustments as observed or requested.
Repairs minor breakdowns as necessary.
Performs equipment preventive maintenance on a regular basis or as assigned
Performs all other related duties as assigned on written work orders.
Order parts and materials by written purchase requisition that relates to his written work order.
Understand and adhere to GMP, SOP and safety procedures at all times.
Follow LOTO procedures
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school graduate or equivalent education. Prefer minimum of six years o equivalent experience in mechanical repair. Must have experience with hand tools.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Spanish a plus.
