<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Security LeadLocation: California-Santa MonicaWe are looking for a Security Lead Engineer to own all aspects of information security for an entertainment publishing company in support of our online platform and services. The Security Lead will perform in-depth evaluation of current security infrastructure, and define, architect and implement infrastructure, tools and techniques to support the security needs of the online platform and service on an on-going basis. In addition to defining improvements for dependable network access controls, network segmentation and threat isolation capabilities, the Security Lead Engineer will also implement intrusion detection and prevention solutions, and data communication logging to enforce security policy and maintain records for troubleshooting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience within the world of Online Services (such as Xbox Live or PSN, although not necessarily limited to game-focused services. Candidates from the financial services industry and online wagering industries are preferred as well). The Security Lead Engineer must be able to gracefully balance schedule needs with security priorities, pushing for quality and innovation.RESPONSIBILITIESThe Security Lead Engineer will work directly with the Technical Director and project leads to establish and maintain the vision for all aspects of IT security related to the online services for our flagship production line. . The role involves working with internal technology groups, development teams and partners to develop, implement, maintain and monitor security policies and procedures .* Develop information security policies, standards, procedures and checklists* Partner with IT Security to select, pilot and implement innovative security solutions, while ensuring optimal customer experience* Staying current on evolving security and legislative/regulatory changes related to security, working with partners to evaluate emerging options * Install, configure, monitor and respond to network and host based intrusion prevention systems, firewalls, and other security devices* Respond to and analyze security system alerts and incident reports* Lead risk analysis of software, systems and architectures* Proactively assess potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerabilities in the network & systems * Effectively communicate problems and solutions to peers and management* Maintain security monitoring, control and analysis tools* Manage or oversee multiple projects simultaneously and complete them on schedule* Ensure procedures and processes are clearly and accurately documented and implementedQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent knowledge with 10 years of related professional experience, 5 of which were in a supervisory capacity. Certification/Training in Security strongly preferred. (CISSP)* At least (5) years of practical experience as a Software Engineer with a security focus on common technologies employed in a hosted web environment* Experience with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, mission-critical systems, systems analysis and applications.* Full understanding of advanced security protocols and standards, including in-depth knowledge and experience with concepts and issues related to computing and infrastructure security.* Prior work experience providing information security analysis, testing, architecture and development for online projects of similar scale and complexity.* Experience with testing vulnerabilities of SQL Server & Apache configurations and installations .* Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, packet analyzers & security management suites .* Experience with VPN, Firewall, IDS/IPS, & HIDS* Ability to operate independently, and exercise significant latitude for independent judgment, discretion
